Safety Department

Key Trucking has made many significant changes in the safety and compliance areas starting in 2006 that continued and expanded to current date.  We have a full time Certified Director of Safety as our Safety, Compliance, and Training Mgr.  With a full time resource, the Safety department has the ability to focus on the critical areas vital to today’s trucking company, specifically the commercial motor vehicle driver.

 

An in-house Entry Level Driver program is being established to provide for up to four (4) employees at one time, who have individually less than 2 yrs of experience, to receive the DOT mandated training, as well as, specific training unique to Key Trucking that is both business customer and driver safety requirement driven. 

 

We realize that not everyone has the ability or desire to drive “Over-the-Road” (OTR) for the 1^st two years of their driving career.  Being a family-owned / family-oriented company, we realize the need of some to be home at the end of each shift.  We provide that opportunity to qualified candidates.
